Intel Bluetooth Driver for Microsoft Windows 10. Certain Intel products that support Bluetooth are among those affected by this industry vulnerability. During the pairing process, an attacker with physical proximity (usually within 30 meters) can gain unauthorized access via an adjacent network, and intercept traffic and send forged pairing. The package provides the installation files for Microsoft Hardware Bluetooth Device Driver version 9.8.132.0. Go to Device Manager (right click on My Computer, choose Manage and then find Device Manager in the left panel) 2. Right click on the hardware device you wish to update and choose Update Driver Software. Click on the Windows icon in your taskbar to bring up the Start menu, then choose “Settings.”. You can alternatively use the Windows + I keyboard shortcut. Click on the “Devices” tile. Make sure you’re on the default “Bluetooth & other devices” tab. You can select this from the left side panel of the Settings window. Driver version 22.50.0.4: For Windows® 10 using AX210, AX201, AX200, 9560, 9462, 9461, 9260, 8260, 18260, 8265, 18265. Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® 22.50.0 driver has been updated to include functional and security updates. Users should update to the latest version. Intel® Wireless Bluetooth® 22.50.0 driver has been updated to include functional and security updates. Users should update to the latest version.

How to install

Download the file to a folder on your PC.
Uninstall current version of Intel Wireless Bluetooth Software.
Double-click the file to launch installation.

About

This small freeware utility will try to install generic Microsoft driver for your bluetooth adapter. The program is based on a widely known method of patching %WinDir%infbth.inf file.
It works for most (but not all) bluetooth adapters, both USB dongles and built-in. (See the list of bluetooth devices and hardware IDs known to work. Note that this list is not exhaustive.)

Before making changes to your system the program automatically creates a restore point. If anything goes wrong you can use Windows System Restore feature to revert all changes made to your computer.

Happens on x64 platform. Under investigation, very likely will be fixed soon.
Try the following: Open Device Manager, right click on root node (computer) and select 'Scan for hardware changes'. Let Windows to find and install driver automatically.

How to use

1. Uninstall your existing bluetooth stack (driver software that came with the bluetooth adapter).
2. Reboot your computer and click 'Cancel' when Windows asks for the driver.
3. Run BluetoothDriverInstaller.exe and follow instructions of the wizard.

Uninstallation

There is no need to uninstall Bluetooth Driver Installer itself, just delete downloaded file.
To rollback changes made to you system use Windows System Restore feature (available from Start Menu - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore).

Note: No changes have been made to your system if you exited the wizard on the second step (due to 'No unconfigured bluetooth hardware found' error).
